- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We simply passed through Merritt, craving fresh jumbo salads....low and behold we stumbled upon the Coldwater Hotel restaurant. Fantastic service. Reasonable prices. Fresh, crisp Taco Salad and Chef's Salad - $13,95 each. Pleasantly surprised. We had a great experience and would recommend this charming little place. Drove all day to get to Merritt.bartender told us she doesn't serve intoxicated people.was completely sober.i guess tourist are not welcome here.first time I write a bad review on an establishment.
